Preamble In order to preserve peace and stability among the Greek city-states and to prevent the outbreak of hostilities that may lead to widespread conflict, the undersigned parties hereby agree to the following terms: Article I: Mutual Non-Aggression The signatory city-states, both within the Peloponnese and beyond, pledge to refrain from any acts of aggression, both military and diplomatic, against each other. Any disputes arising between signatory states shall be resolved through peaceful negotiations and arbitration, with the goal of reaching a mutually satisfactory resolution. Article II: Territorial Integrity Each signatory state recognises the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all other signatory states. No signatory state shall engage in any actions that threaten the territorial integrity or sovereignty of another signatory state. Article III: Economic Cooperation The signatory states agree to foster economic cooperation and trade relations among themselves for mutual benefit. Tariffs and trade barriers between signatory states shall be minimised to promote commerce and prosperity throughout the region. Article IV: Military Military exercises and manoeuvre near the borders of other signatory states shall be conducted with prior notification and in a manner that does not provoke alarm or suspicion. Article V: Diplomatic Relations The signatory states shall maintain diplomatic relations with each other, including the exchange of ambassadors and diplomatic envoys. All states shall agree to provide aid for each other. If one member state is attacked or threatened, it accounts for all of the pact, and they shall be attacked and threatened back. Article VI: Duration and Withdrawal This treaty shall remain in force indefinitely, with periodic reviews and consultations among the signatory states to assess its effectiveness and relevance. Any signatory state may withdraw from this treaty upon providing written notice to the other signatory states, with such withdrawal taking effect one year after the date of notification. Article VII: Ratification This treaty shall enter into force upon ratification by all signatory states, with each state depositing its instrument of ratification with the designated depositary. Amendments to this treaty may be proposed by any signatory state and shall enter into force upon unanimous consent of all signatory states.
