Traditional Arts + Bonus This is a collection of all of the colorful bird art I’ve done over the past couple weeks. Plus some other cool shenanigans. I tried to keep these in chronological order from when I made them, but there might be some error. All of the colorful ones were done with the same set of 6 colored pencils I found lying around. 1: Based off a cool baby bird photo I found. I tried KISS makeup. I failed. BUT HEY HERES A NICE TRIANGLE OOH AHH 2: bird on a couch. This one is messy and… er…. Well…. Interesting. Used some thin sharpie pens that kept dying. :( 3: First colorful bird! This inspired me to make the rest of these things… 4: Onionbird. ‘Nuff said. 5: he is a screamin’ I love the hair/feather texture! And the eyes. Neat lil guy. 6: This bird is softer in color, kind of pastel. The brightness doesn’t really come through in the photo because of the lighting. He has a hoof. 7: HES OFF TO SAVE THE PRINCESS! Or start a fire one of the two I was drawing his body and was thinking he looked like a rotessire (or however you spell it) chicken, so I went with it. 8: The German bird! This one is across 3 papers. He’s saying the longest word in German. I love the head, and the legs. The German bird is standing on a blue hairy elephant. 9: Comics! Old American comics I was gifted. I read a couple of them so far… pretty silly. I am no expert in comics, so if one of these is worth my life’s savings please tell me. (Then maybe I’ll stop shoving them roughly in my drawer…) That’s about it. It was nice to take a break from digital art, I think I’m much better and traditional than digital. Might update this later with a tiger painting I’m working on. Adios!
