But hey, at least you *got* an AMV. Who here remembers the MAP parts for a MAP that was never finished? Seriously, why do all MAPs I join never get finished???? People are weird ngl I'm just gonna focus on the song for a bit: I have an entire story themed around politics, religion, and basically what people do if they see someone that's different from them. This is, indeed, Alienated Innocence. Yes, I am talking about an entirely different story than The Runes. Like the song, it puts real-world problems into a more entertaining form, like how the song is using a childhood game as a metaphor[?] for hypocrisy and whatnot. Good job! [Oh K, I just realized that this would probably have fit better with the cast of Alienated Innocence. But to be honest, that story is where I unload all my random characters in. Also, the plot is not very thought-out yet.] Finally I get to use captions!!! I took a wildly different approach for this than Therapy Session, since it was more lore than actual animation. This AMV is actually more stylized and in "AMV form." Yes I did animate in Bitmap, it wasn't *that* painful but painful nonetheless. But I do like the effect though! There's a reason Kykii is featured in AMVs. Yes, Matrix wears glasses sometimes, and it's usually only for reading. Or to look cool. [Matrix is also the only person to wear glasses in the K-World so far.] I really, REALLY wanted to do lip-syncing in this, but I failed so miserably when I first tried it. Tips for animating big AMVs: Divide your frames/costumes in Sprites. Basically, I animate 1 scene[s] in 1 Sprite until the costume count reaches about 100, then use a transition and animate on a different Sprite. Breaking it up into chunks allows you to test one part of the animation, then see another part. Also, it's neater, and the organization is nice. One more tip: LABEL YOUR FRAMES!!! This is so very important for keeping track of which frame is which. Also, don't use unnecessarily long labels. I shorten my labels to 1-3 letters along with the auto-generated number Scratch provides. Although this might not make much sense, at least it helps you keep track of stuff/is not very time-wasting to type. FYI: I don't really like this anymore. This is why this didn't get as hyped up as Therapy Session, because I was actually struggling to finish that and it had lore. Meanwhile, this "AMV" is actually quite bland.
