Okay, so if you didn't know, I got banned this week. Why? I have no idea. It just sorta happened out of nowhere. said my network was "used to break community guidelines" or something ridiculous like that. I sent an appeal first, not wanting like four years of activity to end like that, but these past couple of days, I came to the realization that... I really, really, dislike Scratch? Just, I dislike pretty much everything about the vanilla website. The community is just annoying and nonexistent, the Scratch equivalent of YouTube content farms rule trending, constant fights about the same issues over and over, Scratch randomly pushing out updates will no prior feedback with the community for no reason, I could go on. This site has been genuinely annoying to use for most of my time here, and that's why I am no longer making Scratch games. I don't like the default editor much, and Turbowarp has a lot more creative freedom. Honestly, this has been happening for awhile, but the ban really solidified it. 4 years of work gone, only to just be brought back like a day or 2 later with no reply email, pretty much confirming I was banned for no reason and it could happen again. I'm tired, man. Of course, i'll still be using my account for advertising and memes/ animations(and heck, maybe if a game doesn't use too much/if any extensions I could post it here) but for lack of a better word, I'm done. I wish I could say it was nice while it lasted, but it wasn't. I remember my first month here being magical but the day august hit everything changed. it's been that way ever since. I never thought I'd be the one to make one of those "screw scratch i'm leaving" posts, but hey, I wasn't expecting a ban, either! I'm on other places, so if you really want to see my new posts all it takes is a little digging. I usually go by "Danyo" or something similar. I'm working on a new comic strip, been coding a flappybird clone this weekend, and have a working scrolling demo of Boiboi 2. only the comic strip will probably come out here. and thats really it.
