hi scratch...... ik im supposed to be likeeee. on hiatus or hjwatever because my mental health is dogpoop but whos ready to listen to me rant this is gonna be really unprofessional cuz its actually super candid but um scratch's moderation is AWFUL. AWFUL AWFUL. the amount of stuff people can get away with is insane.... people doing scratch unfriendly (ONES THAT ARE FOR ADULT AUDIENCES) animation trends, children endangering themselves w personal information, probably plenty of things i cant even talk about on here for risk of getting banned myself?????? the stories ive heard?!?!?!?!??! literally awful. as an older content creator on here i'm immensely grateful for the fact that i can be responsible with a younger audience, but the fact that's not a norm is disturbing. to anyone around my age making content: ANYONE can see your posts if you make them public. ANYONE. if you try to set an "age restricton," chances are they will be ignored. if you post something thats more mature, 10 year olds will not care and will continue to watch your project regardless of how it may affect them. if you make a project that doesnt follow guidelines, post it elsewhere. youtube, its own website, whatever. just PLEASE dont post it here for flip's sake you are ENDANGERING CHILDREN to scratch team: GET YOUR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT!!!!! i know that its like. you only have so many mods and stuff. completely understandable. but if youre taking down projects just bc they have been spam reported but your letting mature-themed memes go by just fine that is VILE. makes me super uncomfortable and im certain im not alone
