This can result to melting to mush or becoming a different person entirely. many corrupted stay in shadow wood due to not being able to touch sunlight, if they do they burn ORIGIN OF CORRUPTION - long ago, a cat named misty was corrupted, by a spirit named crooked, and turned into a physical version of crooked. crooked is practically the king of corruption and rules shadow wood, with followers MAGIC - some places, especially Lunaris, use magic. There are different types of magic, some that people do not like very much UNBALANCED - evil is slowly spreading the magic in the world more and more, such as corruption, that’s why this is the title wowza Random other facts - most people with corruption get yellowish eyes, or extra eyes. Some fish people eat fish. the world has two moons and one sun. lotta languages, most common is literally called common, and the people identify their age in ‘common years’. some people in shadow wood aren’t even corrupted, but still follow crooked with the corrupted ones. crooked is canonically atleast 900 years old hunter really wants to get rid of crooked in secret crooked is capable of extending his neck and limbs you can make your own ocs/aus if you want, but ask first I may make a comic or something if I have the patience
STORY (RP INFO) (if you wanna know the characters, go to my previous project with the refs) patches and rain meet in bleakburn, and later meet frith and bris in eastcliff, then meet amethyst in lunaris the characters are being hunted by crookeds goofy minions and then like uh patches is getting emo scary dreams with misty and patches is getting corrupted as well due to this so he has the bandages so he doesn’t fall apart or get corrupted anyways patches gets possessed by crooked in the shadow wood (corrupted people home or smth) and the other protagonists fought Loki and then got crooked out by dragging patches in the sun patches corruption gets worse they meet reo in her secret lab, and she was trying to find a cure to corruption and patches helped by showing his corruption they end up fighting nova in the lab later the protagonists look for shadow wood to find more out about crooked and a cure and are helped by a neutral side char (ace) they encounter crooked but then get separated and the chars all see crookeds minions frith and rain encounter hunter but they don’t fight bc he chill bris and patches fight Harper but patches knocks her out with a rock frith gets taken by crooked and then possessed by him, nobody notices when they all meet together again, patches is suspicious of possessed frith when possessed frith fights the characters, and patches hurts him badly from rage, when crooked gets out of frith’s body, patches feels guilty for injuring frith’s body so bad they all leave shadow wood and start traveling back to eastcliff they stop when the sun sets to get food rp comes to a halt on 3/7/2023
