To audition, you also must remix the project and record yourself saying the auditioning lines for your character. RULES FOR AUDITIONING 1. Be prepared for your amount of lines! If a role, Sandstone for example, has a lot of lines and you don’t have a very free schedule, only do it if you can manage! It’s best to hear your best self in your lines and make sure you can get them all in in time. 2. Get to a quiet place where you can record without sound. Try to stay still so your microphone doesn’t pick up on the sounds you make when you move. 3. Express yourself! Show me your true Sandstone or Ash or Breeze or whatever you’re trying out for! I want to hear who you are trying out for clearly in your audition. 4. PLEASE DON’T COPY! This is a club based off of the dragons played by my real-life close friends, with an elaborate storyline to top everything off. I will not deal with anyone trying to steal the concept we’ve been hard at work to create for 3 years. 5. Do your best—it’s okay if you don’t get the part you wanted. I will try to assign everyone a part, and you may get one you didn’t audition for, but I gave you because I think you would do better as that role. 6. Prepare for deadlines! You need to be ready. 7. The deadline is to be determined as of now. Tips Audition for more than one role so you have a higher chance of being cast. Practice! Say each line a few times to warm up and find your feel. (You don’t have to record all your warm-ups, but you can if you want) If you are an actor like me and you naturally do hand motions when auditioning for stuff like this, try not to. Your microphone picks up your movements and makes weird noises. Warnings There are only two male characters in this show (Sorry!), so unless you are fine playing a female if you are a male, this might not be your zone. There is a part where Ash murders Breeze, so slight gore warning. Whoever gets Breeze: Your character is going to die! So please no complaining if you didn’t see this, receive the script, and find out. Dragons will only say “taken” if a Wings of Fire member that Scratches has approved they want to join. Other than that, I will wait to decide after I hear auditions.
