I'm too tired and busy with schoolwork to draw anything, so for now I'll share the original draft of the story one by one! I got the idea after reading @9rainbowtails Destiny changed toph au projects, they were so cool, I recommend reading them! Read Blob's perspective in the instructions (right under this text) and Melty's perspective in Notes and Credits! Blob; I was bored, so I thought to myself. What if I met somebody new? What would I say to them? I would probably say, “Hi, I'm Blob!”. If that's even my name. I don't remember if it was. I barely even remember who I am, or who I was. I remember waking up in the middle of a big, grassy field one day. I don't know how I got there. I already knew some things, but I didn't know a lot about myself or other stuff. But whatever, I didn't need to know who I was, because I found my best friend. I call him Melty because one side of his face is melting, he’s never corrected me or told me any other name. Whenever I woke up he happened to be walking past and stumbled upon me. To my luck, he wanted me to stay with him, and he took care of me. The things I didn't know, he would tell me. He knows a surprising amount of stuff. He likes telling stories. Stories about the world before we even existed. I don't know how he knows all that. I didn't ask, I like it when he tells stories. In one story, he talked about humans. Complicated creatures, who only follow greed and selfishness. I'm the same way. I think I might be a human. The way he talked about them, it sounded like they all died. I’ve never actually seen a human before, so they might’ve. However, Melty claims that they are still alive. Just sleeping. A big sleep! I wonder if I was in a big sleep too. Well, I do hope Melty is right about humans. I want to become friends with one, they sound interesting. “Blob, it's time to move somewhere else, we’ve been here too long” I was startled at the sudden noise, but quickly recovered. I smiled as wide as I could, my mouth hurt a bit from smiling so big. It was Melty! “Do we have to go? This place is so sunny!” I whined. I like sunny places, they make me feel warm and happy. Melty made an annoyed, almost panicked, face, it made me regret complaining. I don't want Melty to be mad at me. He was already worried about something. I pretended not to notice his alarm, he didn't want me to know he was panicking. I was about to apologize when he sighed, The place we are going to has a lot of rabbits. They’re practically everywhere.” He said. My eyes widened, that was enough to convince me. I love rabbits more than sunny places. I love rabbits more than anything! Well, except for Melty, I like Melty the most. I hopped around happily. I smiled wide. I looked as happy as possible. Melty smiled, he likes it when I’m happy. “I changed my mind, let's leave right now!” I said, skipping past him in delight. He followed me, but couldn’t seem to catch up. He never seems to have a lot of energy. I slowed down so he could catch up, now walking beside him. I wondered how long it would take to get there.
This is the original storyboard, so things may change when you read the actual colored story, instead of this text one! :) Next; https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1013433137 Melty; I went to collect food, but then I heard a bunch of noise. Too much noise. It must be somebody. I quickly hid, waiting for the noise to go away. I closed my eyes. I wonder if Blob was okay. Blob. Oh no, I almost forgot about him while in a panic! If there’s somebody here, he might be in danger. Blob doesn't know how to fight. He’s too trusting as well. I need to get back to him before anything happens. I darted from my hiding spot quietly. I’m good at being quiet, just as I am good at sneaking around. I am also good at running. I ran towards where I left Blob. Through the trees, I saw him sitting alone. Alone. It's fine, there’s nobody around to harm him. At least not yet. I slowed my pace, to not panic him. “Blob, it's time to move somewhere else, we’ve been here too long,” I said, trying not to sound tired. I could tell Blob was startled, I felt a bit bad but this couldn’t wait. He recognized it was me and looked at me, his shocked frown turning into a big smile that showed as much warmth as the sun. He then looked a bit sad as he took in what I had said. “Do we have to go? The place is so sunny!” He whined. I knew how much he liked sunny places. I felt bad that we had to leave already, but this couldn't wait! I felt annoyed, that Blob and I had to leave so soon just because of some random person. I sighed, feeling a bit guilty since it was mostly my fault we had to hide and run like this. “The place we are going to has a lot of rabbits. They’re practically everywhere.” I said. It was a bit of an exaggeration, but that didn’t matter. Blob was happy now. I smiled. “I changed my mind, let's leave right now!” Blob said, skipping past me in delight. I followed him, but slowly because I was still out of breath and energy from running earlier. Blob slowed down, pretending like he was tired too. I couldn't help but smile, knowing he probably did it for me. I caught up to him and walked beside him, so I could lead him the right way since he was going the wrong way. He doesn’t think things through too much, but that's okay. I silently wished that everything wouldn't go wrong. Things seemed too perfect right now.
