Instructions

Type in any number from 1 to 999,999,999,999,999. The project will read it to you in my voice. To have it read another number, press space. I am planning on adding more voices, decimals, and a countdown/count up. In this version (0.2): •Extended range to 15 digits •Allows commas •Shows number •Say it again button

Description

Ever heard one of those computerized voices, like in a GPS? This project is like that. It will read any number up to almost a quadrillion in my voice. No, I did not record every number separately, I just used a program to splice recordings together in bits and pieces. Presented at Scratch Day 2013. Update 2019-09-29 (v. 0.2.1): Fixed a 6-year-old bug where an erroneous "hundred" would be emitted at the end of a number without a decimal point.
