IM BACKKK (Kinda, still unable to look at my inbox w/out almost having a panic attack, but I might be a little active) Directions: Every switch you see can be used to change a setting. The name of the switch tells you which of the setting options that you are switching between. Set the switch to 0 to choose the option to the left of the slash, and set it to 1 for the option to the right of the slash. binary uses ASCII/UTF-8, morse uses international morse code & a few of the most common prosigns can be used When receiving, make sure to input the "coded" version of the message, as selecting the receiving option will de-code the high and low values that you received (1's and 0's for binary, and - and . for morse code) into characters. When sending, you do not have to have it pre-coded into Binary or Morse, and in fact, you shouldn't, as it would repeatedly send the codes for 1 & 0 / - & ., instead of sending the codes for the characters of the message, which will result in an unnecessarily much longer message, that would probably nonsensical. You should be inputting the characters you want to send, and here is the list of compatible characters for both systems (can also see inside, the list Ref for binary, Morse for morse): Binary: !"#$%&'()*+,-./0123456789:;<=>?@ABCDEFGHIJ KLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ[\]^_`abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz{|}~ (includes the space character) Morse: E T I A N M S U R W D K G O H V F Ü L Ä P J B X C Y Z Q Ö Š 5 4 Ŝ 3 Ę Ð 2 & Ł + Þ Å Ĵ 1 6 = / Ç START ( 7 Ż Ĝ Ñ 8 9 0 CONTACT END ? _ " . @ ' - ; ! ) Ź , : (START and CONTACT END approx. define prosigns that signify the start of a message & end of the last message before the contact between stations ends, the code for the character + is used for the end of a normal message) IF YOU CHOOSE BINARY, when inputting the 1's & 0's IT WON'T WORK WITH SPACES. IT WILL BREAK IF YOU USE THEM. Also, double-check that the length of the string of 1's & 0's is divisible by 8, because if it is not, there's either extra or missing 1's & 0's, and it will not make the correct character(s), same goes for swapped characters, having one of them wrong will make a different character or no character at all. If you need to retrieve a message that was typed in, go inside, and find the list "Recovery". To retrieve the translated message, find the list "Translated Messages". Sorry for yelling at some points, I wanted to make sure that got out there. Also, comment "i Am CoOl" in binary, morse, or both if you made it this far. Anyway, thanks for viewing my project, pls comment if anything is confusing.
This is for the lovelies who have seen this project even after my years of hiatus from scratch during the trials of secondary school: 1st Person to Love this Project: P34c0oleR (May 8, 2024) 1st Person to Favorite this Project, 2nd Person to Love this Project: PineappleSlushie (May 11, 2024) Translators are just fun, aren't they #Binary #Morse #Translator (Pls tell me if this is wrong)
