A Fighting Machine stumbles it's way through a forest in Trithersta, seeming off balance and ready to fall over at any moment. A group of soldiers notice it and begin hauling a Howitzer cannon out of a barn, taking aim at the Fighting Machine which turned to them and began charging it's heat ray. The Fighting Machine blasts it's ray, missing the crew almost entirely but damaging the barn. The crew fire once, hitting the Fighting Machine in it's hull. The Fighting Machine stumbles back. "ULLA!" The machine yells, it's voice louder than thunder. The crew fire another round into the machine, sending it stumbling back again before it collapsed forward. The crew cheered as the machine fell, as it's heatray began pouring out it's fuel and setting the small area around it ablaze. The crew approach the machine, examining it from a safe distance and taking a picture to present to the Kaiser, who was revealed to have survived through the decimation of Trithitiran.
