Full Title- Hidden Worlds: Anthill Observation (SW 2024, Day 2) Today's prompt for Scratch Week 2024 is "Hidden Worlds", so this little project was made to honor the tiny beautiful world hidden beneath our feet. My personal favorite classes from the phylum Arthropoda are Hexapoda (six-legged insects) and Arachnida. I typically favor ladybugs and jumping spiders, but I find all organisms from those classes beautiful (yes, even pesky mosquitos). Anywho, the scene that I've drawn for today's prompt is set in my front yard. I'm in the background observing at a safe distance away from the red fire anthill in the foreground (since fire ants bite). I enjoy taking time to observe the insects I see outside, even if I could end up bitten by the time I stand up. (At least fire ant bites won't k!ll me. *shrugs*) The blur effect on the background is meant to draw more attention to the foreground. I used a website called PineTools to create this effect.
