I drew this art piece of winter and the new baby Darkstalker. What IF <ONLY THE BEGINNING> Since moonbli the perfect pair is off on beach, or playing in the forest tree tops... Winter is now alone in the forest. Hope/Foeslayer living in the forest with her child and a new sweet strawberry beginning; is now getting to know Ganduer, and Orchid, and some nightwings! With all these new friends, she hopes her son won't run off too farwhile she's busy. But since her son is one to constantly want to help and find something purposeful to do, he's wandering to the dangerous parts trying help save a certain previous queen's many fluffy sloths. "Wait! We gotta stay out of the quick sand you know." He told the spryest. But later on, after picking a few berries, two sloths were missing again! And where were they now? "Hey! Oh no! How'd you get stuck in the exact thing I told you not to?" He sighed knowing no one had the right to listen to him anyway. And some sloths just were too adventurous. Attempting patience, he carefully balanced along a redwood log, crawled down the stick of it, and reached out to sunflower and rosy. "Grab my talons!" He squealed. Sloths dealt well in quicksand since they didn't panic and squirm, but they also took too slow to rescue themselves. He'd have to fly low and grab 'em. Hope had just begun to plead winter to help with dragonet-sitting her son, they had sat at his leafy hut and eaten some fish together, but now she had to break it to the person who saved her, she needed this. "Protect your son?" Winter gave a scavenger pet one of his crumbs and continued. "I can't and don't interact well with dragonets even my own age, how am I to keep a youth in check?" "He's a respectful wonderful child who just needs more supervision. He can get pretty lonely despitethe trillions of fuzzy meat pets around here." "I hope your speaking of scavengers." Winter mumbled. "Please, just begin tomorrow, alright?" She sighed. "Fine. I suppose I could try." Winter complied. "I am a very old dragon so it's nice to get a little rest." "I'm glad your no longer trapped. All those years frozen..." His wings faltered, so he went back and thought up a new aproach. "Don't worry! I'm coming for you!" He said running back with the other sloths to a tree hammock. "Kinjou!" "Ahhh...its Kinkajou!" "Oh sorry! Uh, I don't mean to bother you again, but..." "Bother?" The pink and yellow dragon emerged from her hammock with a half eaten pear in her talons. "Its not sun time! I'm up for some adventure! What's the issue?" "Yay! Why thank you! Well now, you see..." Hope turned to the door. "The moons are coming near, i should find my son." Winter paused with a look that was unusual and uncharacteristic, then said something even more surprising than the shift in his demeanor: "Actually, why don't I find him for you while you head to your den to rest?" "Really?!" "Yes. Yup, you'll wake up with your son by your side in the morning. -oh beside you and alive. Later on, Winter's ears caught two high voices bickering or perhaps just panic talking back and forth. He followed the noise, moved away some leaf with his wing, to find sinking mud and sand, 20 sloths yanking a branch, a young odd hybrid dragonet trying to instruct the position. A yellow and pink familiar kinkajou was swooping near the muddy sand trying to swipe two balls of fur, but always missing and turning back to see if the boy was doing his idea right. "What a mess." He grumbled under his breath. "Oh!" The chaos froze. "Winter! Haven't seen you in awhile! Wish I weren't so busy!" "Let me help. At least i know how to catch prey." "Yes yes! Please do help! And hey! I can catch stuff!" Swooping down, his paws racing out, he drove down swiftly and in a glint of light, the two muddy sloths were beside the little dragonet. "That was really pro sir." The boy growled excitedly. "It's honestly average." Winter scoffed. "I wish you could teach me how to fly and save a Slothy!" Winter averted his gaze with a disturbed expression. "Your dark- Hope's dragonet, correct?" "Yeah yeah!" "I need to bring you home now, and this rainwing will return the sloths." "Aw.... I'll miss them." The young night wing said as he was picked up. ... Well! You think of the rest! I may do a part 2 if you want to see how the interactions and introductions go. How did you like this?
