Lil bean is just stuck outside in the rain. :< there’s not really a story other than the hat reminded me of Chinese sunhats so ig his story is set in Asia or china :) purposefully crunchy art no way u guys - I was going for a tapestry look but the colors aren't hitting it right :/ I’m prolly gonna make more. I love this lil guy so muchhhh bro my rendering is always so freaking lazy lol!! I fill an entire layer with the darkened version of the BG, set to multiply or overlay, then erase parts of it with a textured brush. then I add a little more shading sometimes, and sometimes some highlights (like I did here to emulate wet fur, badly lol) Art by me on Procreate with Apple Pencil Design by @Animagoo Song is Cant Stand the Rain by The Rescues Time taken: ~1hr I made a whole new custom brush for this. I never render rain so I didn’t have a custom rain brush before now. I’m surprised I haven’t made one until now. It was really fun to make and came out different than what I wanted, but it is still good.
