Written by the author of the original 8-bit (80's) classics. I've tried to write this as neat and concisely as possible so you can see how 2D platform games are written, by someone who wrote quite a few! PS. I'm very impressed how 'Scratch' is able to get people easily into programming and I wrote this to show it's also pretty powerful. When I used to write games it was all about getting the most out of limited systems and clever little tricks. Hopefully, this shows some :) I wrote this sometime ago, and at the time it worked. But some strange bugs have since appeared, which would take me some time to work out why it's changed.
