- Sci. name: Lacteparapikaia vulgaris - - Common name: Milkaia, Milk worms, Milk fish, Milk squigglers - Milkaia are small little guys which have been content to stay in the Pacific, but have moved over to reefs and shallows. Milkaia are unique because any part of their body which becomes detached can be reattached to any other Milkaia. If they die, their bodies will turn to normal milk and just mix with the water. Milkaias could be drank, but it wouldn't die and probably just crawl back up your throat.
