- Sci. name: Piscicaseus foedus - - Common name: Gorgonzola SeaCheese, Blue SeaCheese - Gorgonzola SeaCheeses are found in freshwater environments which are heavily polluted, and have a diet consisting mainly of rotting biomass, biological waste products, and that nasty gunky algae (you know the kind). Some companies that I won't name put hundreds of these guys in a big tank and dump rotting meat products in every few hours, and every now and then fish one up and turn all it's cheesy flesh (including eyes) into chunky blue cheese dressing. So, look out next time you buy that stuff. Check the ingredients, actually.
