I know that the Scratch Team does not want chat engines created with the global/cloud variables; but, I am requesting that this might be looked over again. Because they have removed the text holding ability of cloud variables, it is obvious that their intention was to possibly deter people from creating chat systems.
I hereby petition to have cloud variables possibly re-reviewed for their text passing ability, but mostly for cloud variable based chat systems be reconsidered. We Scratch'rs are kind, considerate, and caring towards others; we are a sharing and loving community! If you believe that cloud/global variables deserve a second chance from the Scratch Team and that chat systems can not be removed, please comment for the future of Scratch!
