The beginning animation goes for about 5 seconds, so don't think it's a glitch. Press space for the next slide! This is a sketchy - looking run cycle; it does not look like a professional animators run cycle or something. But sketch is a certain style; if you want something more cartoonish, check out my beginners run cycle tutorial. I hope this tutorial is better than my last one.
