Introduction Hi, I’m Allen, and I’m excited to apply to help manage this blossoming RP! I’ve been rping on Scratch since my freshman year (around fall ‘21). I’ve come to love developing stories, bending conventions, and just having fun being able to write with other likeminded people. I have found through the years that good plot and active players are key to an enjoyable RP, and this one certainly has both of those! Experience I’ve managed a variety of RP’s in the past, including Tenebris, Collide (formerly Ampelos), and the Dealer of Cards MMRP. Other admin experience comes from being a manager of a large studio on an alt account, as well as being a coleader of the Dystopian cabin in SWC March 2024. Activity Level I’m pretty decently active, getting on at least once a day, if not more. This adds up to more than a few hours a week :’) . Suggestions I have a few suggestions for this RP. Beginning with organization, I think opening the comments for the “Name Storage” project, and having the managers process forms and submit OC’s through the Name Storage project could streamline the process of storing bios. The method would be as follows: - The manager would check that a bio contains the correct information. If so, they will accept the bio. - The manager would then gather essential items, such as name, gender, sexuality, affiliation, and gang (if applicable). They would put this in a form: [ name // gender // sexuality // affiliation / gang ] - The manager would then post that in the Name Storage project, where the owner of the project (@milkysplash) would then be able to easily transfer the information to the NaC. I love how much information and lore there is for this RP. Nothing is missing, however, I think certain details could be added. Such items as what currencies the ecumentopolis uses, and what economies it was founded on are questions that I personally would love to be answered. One question I thought of is why are there not multiple governments or factions spread across the moon? What has kept them together all this time? Is the current inadequacy of the government promoting mass revolts in some places? Is the government able to combat these? Another thing is that the very recent backstory could possibly be elaborated on; for example, has there always been a widening poverty gap, or was there a sudden excommunication of the middle class because of the collapse of the government’s welfare system? How are other businesses stepping in to fill basic needs such as electricity, or is the economy of Avalon too restrictive to give them an opportunity? Are the rich still using an operating model of the system, or are they too feeling the effects of the collapse? How are other parts of the government, like the military, affected? Perhaps these are questions to be answered within the rp, but I think either way they would make interesting additions to the story. Event Ideas I have a few ideas on possible events that could happen. One is that revolts begin to occur as a result of the mass deprivation of the people of their basic commodities. Another is in regard to ALLA: word begins to get out about this secret police, and people start to get antsy as the brutality increases without any significant change. Another event could be the sudden consolidation of the criminals of the city into a very well organized crime ring, reaching from street criminals all the way up to corrupt senators. A very far-fetched idea is to have an alien invasion that unites the crumbling society against a common evil.
