SCRIPT: Hello! Before we start for today I just want to say that this episode and most upcoming episodes of this series will be longer, or at least I'll try to make them longer. This is because I wrote the script for the first episode back when I was still trying to use AI to replace my voice, and most text-to-speech AI voices had a character limit, so I kept it under 2,000 characters. I also highly recommend listening to the previous episode to understand better. With that out of the way, let's get started. Section 1: The Beliefs And Culture of The Bearcatattoo. The Bearcatattoo have complicated and perhaps sometimes inconsistent beliefs, let's start from an insight the Narrator gives us when entering two (I think) of the Wellness Center Temples, "The ancient bears that once ruled the island worshipped the various natural creatures", it goes on but that's the most important part. We can assume that they worshipped Fluffrogs and (maybe) Fluffowls, considering that those are the most prevalent natural creatures around Paradise Island, though the Sand Dolphins also live around the island. The Bearcatattoo also seem to be educated in dark magic, as the Bearcatattoo Shaman-Warrior Garb's description says that the Bearcatattoo shamans were said to have had power over the UnTed (zombie bears). Above all else, the Bearcatattoo worshipped Fe'qu'g'all'q, who has been described as the the ancient Spirit of Paradise Island, and as the Bearcatattoo god-king. Fe'qu'g'all'q was known to have worn a skull, it's now worn by Ooodoo (the leader of the UnTed) and it now goes by the "Fe'qu'g'all'q Skull". Supposedly, Fe'qu'g'all'q's power goes through the Bearcatattoo temples, and can actually prolong life, it's also said that certain toxic temples harm the unjust, though this may not be true as the Narrator mentions this in a temple filled with dozens of dead Unibears, who are said to be completely pure. Early wise men and soothsayers used the temples found on Paradise Island to predict the future, and they spoke of the end of all bearkind, though not very soon or related to Naughty Bear. This end-of-the-world scenario could be related to the idea that the temples draw their power from Dark World (which seems to be the source of all supernatural evil in the world), they say that the temples will one day align, and create a portal to Dark World that will never be closed. Fe'qu'g'all'q is not the only bear found in the Bearcatattoo temples, others with similar names like Vuq'g'ek, G'eq'g'llek, and Gr'kwy''kal'gek, these may be strange demonic creatures or the could be actual bears like Fe'qu'g'all'q, their connection to the Bearcatattoo is unknown. Section 2: The Magic of The Bearcatattoo. I know I already covered this topic in the last episode, but I thought it would be nice to get more specific, magic courses through the Bearcatattoo temples and it can give immortality, just straight up kill you, or do other strange things. The science fiction writer, Hughbear, thinks that the Unibear was created by the Bearcatattoo temples, and the Narrator thinks that the X-Bears could get their powers from the Bearcatattoo magic too. The strange dark magic that is imbued into these temples is still relatively hard to understand. Well... I thought that this episode would be way longer but I didn't gather that much information, I have to dig deeper and deeper for this stuff the more I want to know, and this is really all I found, or at least in relation to the Bearcatattoo... bye!
What do you think of me using my voice for once? I think it sounds terrible... but what do you think?
