hihi, i know i disappeared for a while but now i’ve returned with a completely new artlestyle >:D i went back to doing this thing i used to do 2 years ago where i would draw something on paper then import it into procreate and trace over it and i guess 11 year old me was a genius because it worked weirdly well! sorry for being inactive for a while, i’ve been super busy lately but now that i’ve gotten into highschool i’ll hopefully be able to post more (until the regents at least)! off topic and i know scratch isn’t the best place to share this but i just wanted to let you all know that i got into my top highschool! it’s like an hour and 30 minutes away so the commute it going to be torture but i’m really glad because i prepped for the shsat until near death and it eventually payed off! so here’s some words wisdom from your elder (most of you guys are probably older than me but whatever lol) if you don’t succeed the first time never let yourself get discouraged or doubt your ability. when i was in 6th grade, i did a test to attempt to enter Hunter Highschool, if you’re from nyc you probably know which one i’m talking about, i failed miserably because i was too lazy to study and since i had always been a good student i assumed that it would be enough. to rub salt in the wound, 3 of my friends got in and threw a party which they invited me to for some reason- the whole thing left me super discouraged and i wondered if i had really just been faking my intelligence this whole time. but in the end, i learned from the experience and instead of using it to being me down, i used it as motivation! before practice tests i used to write “hunter” in my pencil cases to remind myself what would happen if i didn’t study and i learned to not be overconfident but not to doubt myself either! i’m so sorry for yapping but i just wanted to let you all know that you are amazing and intelligent, you should never ever let something like this bring you down! -lots of love #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art #art
