Instructions

The Viewer: Click the "Play" button to watch the drawing that was recorded. The Artist: 1. Click the "Editor" button. 2. Draw some guideline (you can skip this step). 3. Then click the yellow circle with the 'R' in it and it'll turn red, this means it is recording. 4. Draw your image. 5. When you are finished, hit the 'R' again and/or click 'Exit' in the top right corner. 6. Click the 'Play' button and watch yourself drawing! Editor Tips: 1. You can change the color by dragging the white circle around on the color palette. 2. You can change the pen size by dragging the slider next to the color palette. 3. To get a white pen, drag the circle to the top of the color palette. For black, to the bottom. Currently there isn't any gray. If anyone *really* needs it, say so and I'll see how high on the priority list it should be. 4. Click the arrows to select between past used colors (so you can switch back and forth while still having the same consistent color).

Description

Inspiration was from this project: http://beta.scratch.mit.edu/projects/1243409/ Designed for use in this gallery: http://beta.scratch.mit.edu/studios/181947/ I wanted to create a project that was simpler to use, understand, and easier to remix your own drawings. Paint Editor Features: Pen Color, Pen Shade, Pen Size, Pen Indicator. Recording Features: Starting (Clicking the Yellow 'R'), Pausing (Clicking the Red 'R'), and Stopping (Click the "Exit" Button) When the recording is paused, it'll still draw but the drawing won't be recorded. This could be used for creating guidelines that won't be seen in the final recording. Of course, those that want to learn from your drawing will probably want to see the guidelines to understand what is being drawn. Future Features (hopefully): Extra Video Playing features: I plan on adding a "video player" that allows you to select the frame you want (you can already see a sprite in the current player). Also pausing (and playing) are in the ideas list as well. Compression/Conversion: So the current format it uses is mostly meant for simplicity and easy to understand and modify. However, I want it to be possible to post your drawings in the comments (which probably won't happen because of the 500 character limit, my video is 2100+ lines alone...) or somewhere else so it's easy to copy and paste the "video" into the project so you don't have to remix. While I do have a couple ideas on how to implement it, it's still a ways away. Extra Editor Features: I'm thinking of adding the ability to modify/add onto the original recording. Any suggestions?
