If you have seen the Shinitai-Chan P/AMV, you might have seen this image before. In the P/AMV, this is the only time DreamEevee's old parents are ever referenced in it. These two are not to be confused with Maliceon & Spectria. The one on the left is Queen Yume and the one on the right is Lord Akumu. Yume is Japanese for Dream, while Akumu is Japanese for Nightmare. Therefore, Yume is the goddess of dreams while Akumu is the god of nightmares (and a laboratory experiment bc the right arm) in DreamEevee Lore. They were both caring towards DreamEevee, and they seem to get along. The duo first met when the tears in the universe were appearing rapidly, and they were from the same dimension. They formerly were long-time enemies, until Yume and Akumu came to accept the balance between the light and the dark, learning to have them both coexist, because of an old lesson they were taught long ago; Without darkness light cannot exist, and vice versa. Eventually, the two used their magic to create DreamEevee's egg, and raised their new child for ten long years...until they died. They got killed by mere amalgamates and inversions (another species), entities far underneath their power level. No one knows how these entities managed to kill two high-level overlords, and we might never know. We don't even know if they're truly dead. But for now, let's say that they are both dead. Oh and also, DreamEevee gained a bite mark from an amalgamate. That's how it all started. Well, there's something else that's been kept in the shadows for some time, but that will be revealed later, possibly in my next post. Until then, this is the end of the lore post! Hope you enjoyed ✦
