I've learned for years to get to this point, without tracing or stealing. You'll get there, don't worry. The watermark is there to protect against art theft! I see you, tracers and thieves. ART TIPS for all you aspiring artists: -Use tutorials, how to draw books, etc. Don't trace, try to copy the shapes from the books/tutorials on your own. I suggest starting out on paper rather than a tablet or computer. -Use references!!! Look at a picture of what you want to draw, like a real cat or dog or person. -When doing two eyes, make sure to draw the top edge of both first, then the bottom (or vice versa). Drawing a whole eye then trying to draw the second will most likely cause one to be smaller than the other. -Use guidelines! For a head, draw a circle (or oval) then do the rest -For animals with sharp teeth, don't be afraid to make those monchers big! -Exaggerate traits. On animals, you could make the ears insanely long or super short. The eyes really thin or very round. Have fun designing!
