This is a piece that I finished on April 8th 2024 (approx. 1.5 hours before totality reaches Mexico). It is my first ever orchestral piece, using entirely percussion. CONTEXT: The story is set during prehistoric times. A group of pagan tribesmen witness a total solar eclipse, they saw it as a bad omen, freaked out, and started a dance that lasts as long as totality itself.
