Prologue: "No! She can't leave the safety of the house!" "But she has to! Her life depends on it." "Are you out of your mind? She'll get taken somewhere and go missing fast as lightning!" I watch as my parents argue, trying to figure out if any of my abilities can restore peace between the two. Then, I realize a very heartbreaking truth. There is no way to get the two to get along. A divorce will happen, and I can't prevent it from happening without the help of my twin sister, who is currently at Grandma's house. Then, I hear the door open. I look back and see my sister. "Lilly! Please help! Mom and Dad are arguing again." Chapter One: I hear the familiar ringing sound and wake up. Me and my 14-year-old twin have been living together ever since my parents divorced. She had told me that a divorce would happen, no matter what she did. So we moved out, and here we are now. I open the window and let some cool air in. My blonde hair resembles fire in the breeze. I change into one of my best outfits, a blue dress and blue leggings, before waking my twin up. "Good morning, Lilly!" I say. "Morning, Anne. Can I please get a few more minutes?" she says. I nod and set a 5 minute timer.
