Instructions

Press the green flag and watch clones of the Scratch cat continually go round while "singing" a round, each one cloning itself in turn after the first of three parts, and vanishing after completing the whole song. Upon "birth" each clone finds its own voice (instrument) for the whole song.

Description

To me, this sorta resembles the course of life itself. Like the clones in the project we are born, find our voice and start singing the song of our life, accompanied by our parents. About one third into life we settle down, procreate offspring, and attempt harmony. After our last verse, we vanish, but the song is carried on... :) Okay, about the music: It's a well-known round that I've often sung in church. The lyrics are from the Emmaus gospel, which I can't cite without looking it up. :-) I really love the music, shame that I have no idea who wrote it. It's very interesting that the harmonic chord progression fits another well-known German folk song "Der Mond ist aufgegangen" (which is one of my all-time favorite lyrics), and - get this! - you can actually sing this other song right along to this one, adding even more harmony! How about anyone remixing this project and actually adding "Der Mond is aufgegangen" to it (nudge, nudge)?
