IMPORTANT! D Seperate Broadcasts: 40 Scripts: 308 Sprites: 86 Don't forget to hit love it if you appreciate the time and effort I've put in to making this. --------------------------------- NorthOS, a brand new, professional, easy to use OS. Surf the internet (all 3 pages of it :D) play music, browse through cool images and buy awesome apps! I spent about 7 months (on and off) working on this :P Play with your volume up and in fullscreen. All windows are draggable apart from the settings because of the slider. Known restrictions: -lag offline -java doesn't load -calculator can only have a positive whole number less than 10 as the answer, and the format of the sum has to be [digit] [operation] [digit] -a few layering bugs here and there, nothing too big -some images don't really set as the background properly and you can sometimes see the previous background behind it -sometimes the internet doesn't work: just move the mouse and keep trying :P --------------------------------- I replaced the help project with some faq's. FAQs: Q: What's the password? A: See top of notes. Q: Can I submit apps or webpages to put in NorthOS? A: Yep, sure, just make sure the webpages have an address and the apps have an icon. Q: Are you going to update it? A: Yes, suggest away with things you think I could improve on. If you encounter any bugs, check the 'restrictions' list above and see if it's listed there. If not, tell me. --------------------------------- Big thanks to stevetheipad for helping ever since the first test came out, SciTecCF for the clock app, and plb36 for some early alpha testing :D I got the app icons from iconarchive.com, and credit to Kevin Macleod for Spazzmatica Polka, the rest of the music came from various places (newgrounds, youtube etc) Thanks to 08jackt and his amazing 'SynOS' that inspired me :) --------------------------------- Completely unrelated, but if you want to meet me in MC, the server I go on the most is: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=103697 The whitelist has been removed, so just join! However, it still isn't 24/7. If you want, I could put a link up to your own OS if you have one. Not too many views though! :) OS Crystal 3: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/miniluigi008/2502704 DreamOS Beta: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/beyblade4/2750607 Scratch Smart Beta: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/G40sT/2746918)
