Welcome to my very first CMC entry!! Today, I've drawn Zero as he would have looked like if he was a Reploid from the Mega Man X series! (If you don't know what that is, look up the definition of "Coolest franchise in the world" in your Thesaurus.) Alright! Let's start! ————————B I O ————————— name: Zero-2 age: Biologically 15-17, but parts of him are over 200 years old. species: Reploid (A sentient robot race that has human thought capabilities, emotions, and their own set of DNA) gender: Male Reploid Designation: star guardian personality: curious, friendly, chaotic, learns everything the hard way, creative, lil over protective, clever, artistic, adventurous, doesn’t think before doing things, lil jealousy problemo, can be mature but is also a silly goose, likes to be goofy to make ppl smile B], considerate, + can be manipulative :P —————-—-——L O R E (MMX)—--——-————— (Get ready- It's a long read!) Not long after the S-Class Maverick Hunter Zero was genetically revived from retirement [Essentially death], portions of his genetic material were salvaged by a small group of bounty hunters. Labeled as "Defeated War Reploid DNA", the bounty hunters sold the package to the Star Police Force, a space law enforcement unit active since the days of Doctor Thomas Light in the year 20XX. The SPF, mostly made up of simple robots, needed an edge to keep law and order in outer space. After a thorough scan of the DNA and slight modifications to ensure it was strong enough to survive in space, the new Reploid was born. An adolescent, youthful being with a lively, peaceful personality and a strong, creative will, almost the complete opposite of his predecessor. Upon awakening, Zero was briefed of where he was and the Space Police Force's plight. He being a god mannered child, Zero was eager to help the SPF keep order in space and protect the stars. Soon after his joining to the SPF, Zero found a secret research project in an abandoned ship. He brought the research to the Force's lab, where it was discovered to be a special energy-matter emitter. A device in the shape of a paint brush, this device pored out a superstate fluid called 'Matrix'. With an external source of energy, the brush could create a variety of materials solely from willpower. The SPF entrusted Zero with this tool, which basically became his trademark wherever he went. About a month after his creation, chaos was reported to have happened in the skies above the planet commonly called Earth, a technologically advanced planet. Zero was willing to help stop the evil robots from taking over the planet, and being the most capable to do so, the SPF gave him the mission. Soon after ariving, though, Zero met with the brunt end of fate. Not two minutes on the surface, a chaotic war scene and a ruined city was all there was in sight. Zero then found a bunch of bad robots trying to destroy everything, but he easily defeated them with his Matrix-Brush. However, just when the mission seemed completed... A purple, humanoid robot jumped out in front of him! ...No...Worse... A REPLOID. "Mwahaha! You are no match for me, you pathetic Maverick Hunter Hoax!" the reploid said. Zero just stood there, dumbfounded. "W-w-who are you?" he asked nervously, as if he expected a horrid name to go with the scary suit. "Bah! Foolish last words! Fine! I'll humor your dying wish! I am Vile, the greatest Reploid warrior there ever was! Now, prepare to retire, wimp!" And the battle ensued. Zero used his Brush to paint a metal club and ran towards Vile, but Vie was fast upon Zero. Without warning, Vile shot a paralyzing blast form his cannon and, with a single dash, grabbed the dazed Zero and threw him to the faraway building, leaving Zero a broken mess. Vile then walked slowly to his victim, and when he reached him, picked him up by the throat on one hand and readied his free, clenched fist to strike the final blow. "Goodbye, 'Zero'! Mwahahahaha!" Vile scoffed. "Nnnnneeeaaaayyyooooowwwwwwwwwwww-Pwaow!" A blast of energy. A flash of light. All of a sudden, Vile was on the ground, as was Zero. A red Reploid stood before the befallen Vile, who had just risen and started to run away. Then the Reploid walked to Zero. For a moment, there was silence, then... "I-is that... Me?" Zero said weakly. "Hm... You do look a lot like me." the Reploid said. "What's your name, kid?" "Zero, sir" "ZERO?? That's MY name!!" Long story short (Because this definitely isn't long at all,) Zero was nicknamed Zero-2 because the other Zero came first. He joined the Maverick Hunters and basically became a younger brother to Zero. And they went on many other adventures as well. And that's Zero-2!
