About me - BluePixelLOLLL More detailed story on how I came to Scratch: ========How I came to Scratch========== By Bluepix So one day in 3rd Grade so many years ago, there was little me, sitting at my desk, bored as heck. Then my teacher said we are doing science. Then I just lost it. I yelled "Why can't we do something different for a change?" Because usually we would do some boring video with a guy of what looks like Donald Trump's great grandpappy. Then he went out into the hall, came back in, and said, "Everyone, were going to be doing something a little different." and he sat down in his cool spinny chair. He connected his computer to the projector, and typed in "scratch.mit.edu". And we were all so confused. Then he talked to us about how "code" is something that makes the computer do something. Then he sat back down, almost breaking his spinny chair, and hits that good ol' create button. Then we were so amazed. There was a cat, a change color by 25 block, change variable by 1 block, if something = something, and we jammed them all together to create this masterpiece. A cat spinning around while changing colors while a variable called "poop" was going to infinity and beyond. And the background was twirling around doing all sorts of dance moves while adding 5 to days since 2000 divided by the "poop" variable, and it was CRAZY! Then he told us to get out our chromebooks out of the Chromebook cart and make our own projects while our 3rd grade teacher was exploring with the sounds he could add. And after awhile I was making good projects. (They were kinda horrible, but back then everyone thought my project was the best.) And everyone was asking me how to do this and that, and I was the coolest kid in the 3rd Grade. But, a few weeks later. One of my friends made a REALLY good project. It was even better than the clicker game I made. And I wasn't the cool kid anymore. Then after all the attention he was getting, I got jealous. I asked my teacher if I could take my chromebook home. He said yes. So I stayed up all night making the best project. When I came in the next morning, I accidently closed the tab. (And back then we didn't know we could make accounts and save the projects.) And I was devastated. And the kid I was jealous of made an even better project. He showed it off, everyone liked him, then HE was the coolest kid in the 3rd Grade. So what did I do? I went on his chromebook and I changed his Google Account password to ILikeStinkyToes145689 while he was in the bathroom. Then, he couldn't log into his Chromebook. But that didn't help anything because the district got him a new account. And they blocked the ability to change passwords. Then I tried the hack his account but at that time I didn't know what the heck anything meant. I just did Ctrl Shift C hoping something good would happen but nope. So then what I did was create a spam scratch account and continued to do bad things until the whole schools ip address was banned. So then the kid couldn't go on Scratch anymore. And I thought what I did was good because he can't use Scratch anymore. But at the time I didn't really understand the full meaning of an ip ban and realized the WHOLE SCHOOL COULDN'T USE SCRATCH ANYMORE! Then thats when I realized I messed up big time. Not even the teacher could use Scratch anymore. So then I had to turn things around. I sent an appeal to the ST. They said they couldn't unban the ip address because of the inappropriateness I caused. I was sad. And to this day, I still remember that time. I wanted to be the very best. So that's what I'm going to do. And to this day, I am still trying. Wish me luck everyone!
