YEAR: 1976 The Lost Lands is a Country Roleplay of a new world, countries can pop up anywhere across the world with the maximum tech level allowed (until the RP starts) being Mid WW1 tech. Sign ups are in the project, fill in the info and put your country on the map Every country starts as a blank slate, with the early RP being about cementing what your country is, what its good at, and what its about. Press up arrow for a Germany for scale. If you make an invention, make sure it makes sense how it works, bonus points if you make a project showing what it looks like. Three versions of one map: Empty, Terrain, and height. For Height the darker the color, the higher it is. For Terrain, the color shows the biome. Rules: 1. Actions must be semi-realistic, with some leeway 2. Don't try to game the system, play stupid games win stupid prizes 3. I will decide how actions go, though "Rule of Cool" does mildly apply 4. Make your actions legible. I can't respond to what I can't read/understand. 5. Try not to meta-game, or at least not let outside information effect your actions in RP. 6. You can't make actions that don't make sense to work, or are just plain [unintelligent] Economy: Economy is tied to things like imports, exports, factories, moveability around one's country (for things like movement of resources), etc. A good economy means that you can spend more safely, while a bad one will make projects more difficult, and lower stability. Military: Military is a bit easier to understand, the larger or more advanced your military, the higher this is. The higher this is, the stronger your country is in general, and while this has a large part in a war, roleplay also plays an equal part. Stability: Stability is basically civilian happiness or contentment, the higher it is, the more your civilians like you. If it gets low enough, you might get things like riots, boycotts, or possibly even Rebellions, and Revolutions.
